The Blood Type Diet
For people with type O blood, the recommended diet is low in carbohydrates, low in dairy products, and high in protein from meat and fish. Certain foods should be avoided by people with blood type citrus, avocados, nuts and Brazil.
People with blood type A should not eat red meat. Fish, vegetables, and low intake of dairy products are permitted. These people also should only do light exercise.
Blood Type “B” people should eat lots of meat, dairy products, fruits, vegetables and fish. People with blood type should avoid meat and chicken.
People with blood type AB blood type diet must combine A and B.
An example of a special diet for blood type A:
Breakfast orange juice, coffee, herbal teas, water with lemon or oatmeal with soy milk. At lunch, an apple slice of brown bread, or a Greek salad permitted. For lunch, herbal tea indicated. As a snack, people with blood type A to eat two plums, green tea, or two rice cakes. For dinner, try their frozen yogurt, broccoli, herbal tea, Tofu Pesto Lasagna, or red wine.
